SAP Heroes
It has been 20 years since I first came into contact with SAP. After graduating, I started my first job at an international consulting firm. During the introductory interview with my then boss, he asked me, "Do you want to go into SAP?". - I distinctly remember thinking, "Hmm.... SAP... What is that?" So I left his office without giving him a concrete answer. I immediately went to talk to a colleague at work: "Hey Jochen, tell me, should I go into SAP? "His answer was firm and precise: "Of course, do it, it's a life insurance." In these 20 years, I have been fortunate to be involved in several international SAP projects, to help shape corporate processes and to meet many interesting people. Of course, accumulating a lot of SAP knowledge in the areas of process design, customization, interface design and SAP technology has not gone unnoticed during this time. In 2018, I had started publishing these experiences regularly on my blog https://thinkdoforward.com/- where hundreds of very useful posts have accumulated over time. In this work, I have summarized my SAP knowledge in a timely and systematic manner. My goal with my contributions and thus with the content of this book is firstly to create a WOW effect and secondly to pass on knowledge that is useful but not generally known. Han pasado 20 años desde que entré en contacto por primera vez con SAP. Tras licenciarme, empecé mi primer trabajo en una consultora internacional. Durante la entrevista de presentación con mi jefe de entonces, me preguntó: "¿Quieres dedicarte a SAP?". - Recuerdo perfectamente que pensé: "Hmm... SAP... ¿Qué es eso?". Así que salí de su despacho sin darle una respuesta concreta. Enseguida fui a hablar con un compañero de trabajo: "Oye Jochen, dime, ¿debería dedicarme a SAP?
